Lisa Udelson, Creator

Storyteller, meditator, and mom, Lisa’s authentic voice imparts wisdom alongside humor, sharing stories from the trenches as a gay divorcée living with a chronic illness.  In this podcast series, Lisa uses her decades of work as a filmmaker to shape a cinematic audio experience. She navigates the scary and often hilarious travels through the chemo ward and life beyond it, combining irreverent true tales of her survival with coping tools Lisa has learned– and learned to teach– the mindfulness meditation practice that carried her from mystery disease to remission.

Darby Maloney

Producer

Darby is a producer and editor, a regular meditator, a former therapist and a mom. She thinks the world could use more empathy and finds that going outside and looking at the sky is the answer to momentary despair. Also iced jasmine green tea with lots of lemon. She's currently Senior Editor of TV and Film podcasts at Pineapple Street Studios.

Fred Rapoport

Music

Twenty years ago, composers/producers Fred Rapoport and Rick Butler formed Static Music, creating a catalog of work that elicits a range of emotions– contemporary, organic and edgy in tone, but produced in a big, cinematic style– and it’s produced entirely in-house. Static’s music is intended for use in TV, Film and Advertising. Static creates music that helps tell the story.

“One thing I love about Lisa is that she really doesn’t have any rules. It’s quite freeing. And it makes me want to meditate that much more. It makes it easier to meditate when I’m not feeling like I could be doing it the wrong way.”
